all i can think of is that in canada if a bike has red numbers its a pretty sure sign its been raced in the junior or beginner class.... or black with yellow backgrounds intermediate.. Or you could ask the seller, most of the time they will tell you, or usually you can tell just by the way the person talks and maintained the bike
